I planned a family holiday in October 2018 for Eid to Malacca. I rented a car from KLIA2 and drove straight to Malacca. I was looking for a property with an indoor theme park and kids attractions and luckily came across Shore Hotel and Residence ideally located at a 5-minute driving distance from the centre of the city.
The 48 story building has a number of 1-2 bedroom serviced apartments with a basic kitchenette, refrigerator and microwave. The accommodation I ideally suited for a family holiday as the ground floor has kids jumping castle, bars, restaurants and cafes.

The outdoor water theme park is an enjoyable facility for families. Two covered pools are located on the same floor with great views of Malacca. The theme park has slides and fountains for the children.

The top floor of the building has a Skywalk commanding great views of Malacca City. An Italian restaurant is a nice place for formal events or dinner while enjoying the skylines.

The staff is quite friendly and supportive. If you have already booked in advance, check-in takes under 10 minutes. I suggest booking beforehand as this is a very popular property in the city and last minutes rates can be very high.
