Genting Highlands, one of the most popular tourist destination in Malaysia is located at a one-hour driving distance from Kuala Lumpur City. You can hop on a bus on a day tour and can have access to the chair-lift leading to Awana Hotel and access to the theme park. Located at around 2000 m above sea level, Genting offers a pleasant respite from the warm and hazy weather in Kuala Lumpur. As you manoeuvre the tricky curves to the top of the Genting Hills you can feel the temperature dropping substantially.
