Grand Margherita Hotel is located within walking distance from the popular Chong Choon Cafe. I got up early on a weekday morning and took a casual walk to the cafe. Surprisingly the cafe was packed with a crowd enjoy local delights. At first, I was not sure what to order.
I started off with cheese toast and deep-fried egg with some tea. This is my usual breakfast. The serving size is compact, suggesting you finish off with a small serving of noodle dishes, steamed buns or soup of your choice.
I was tempted to order noodles in sauce served with seafood, beef slices and deep-fried egg. I quite liked the taste. It is quite interesting to see how the taste and the cooking style of dishes changes across various regions of Malaysia.
