Precious Old China Restaurant in Central Market Kuala Lumpur

An amazing Nyonya (Peranakan) Restaurant situated on first floor of the Central Market in Kuala Lumpur. The decor of the restaurant belongs to a bygone era. The experience in this restaurant is like going back in time to the heyday of the 1960s and 1970s. I enjoyed the relaxed and comfy atmosphere of the restaurant.

The menu is quite impressive with a wide range of Nyonya dishes, including curries and vegetable dishes. I wanted to try Devils Chicken, Okra cooked in Belacan Sauce and a beef dish. The food seemed quite a lot for one person. I just wanted to try all the best dishes on the menu.

An appetizer consists of fried shells to be filled with salad and cilantro. The taste is quite refreshing and your palate is lined with some freshest flavours.
